Over the last couple of days, my parents were in a frenzy about possibly purchasing a Life Lease (with a verbal intention to sign all of the agreements in a short 48 hours!). What ensued was a rapid deep dive into the world of Life Leases! We spoke with Life Lease owners, past-Life Lease owners, lawyers, and other experts.

Like many children of immigrant parents, living with grandma was simply a norm. While mom and dad were busy building a life that met all of our needs, grandma was there to walk us to/from school, offer snacks, make dinner, do laundry, and take care of the everyday moments.

To me, “togethering” means feeling the love, warmth, and sense of belonging in your ‘village’. It involves sharing laughs, fights, chores, routines, meals (!!), and unscheduled quality time.
